Welcome to Ss John Fisher More and Thomas More Roman Catholic High School

“The Headteacher provides vision and direction for the school”

As Headteacher, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Ss John Fisher and Thomas More Roman Catholic High School, Colne. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Fisher More, a school with roots firmly based in the Catholic tradition and which welcomes students of any faith or background.

We all work on a daily basis to live out our mission to educate our young people in the broadest of senses. Our students are actively encouraged to ‘let all their bright colours shine’ and we, as a school community, work hard together to enable them to do just that.

We want all of our students to be the best that they can be so we create a climate and culture which enables all of our young people to achieve their full potential. We do this by providing the highest quality teaching, learning, care and guidance.

We stop at nothing less than wanting the very best for all and we work with our parents and carers to make this happen.

Fisher More is an outstanding Catholic school. Our students’ examination results, year on year, speak for themselves. Students leave here with all they need to secure their future success.

If you want your child to join a family school, be known as an individual and leave school fully equipped to contribute to life in the 21st century, then Fisher More is the school for your child and for you. I very much look forward to working with you in the future.

Clare Hayes, Headteacher
