Exam Information

The Exam Day

You must arrive for your exams on time.

  • Morning exams start at 9.30am
  • Afternoon exams start at 1.30pm

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the examination

Late arrivals at Fisher More are from after 10.00am for a morning exam and 2.00pm for the afternoon exam.

If you are more than half an hour late for the exam your exam paper may not be marked.

Please check your timetables again, again and again.

What if?

  • The car breaks down
  • You miss your bus
  • Your alarm doesn’t go off/ you sleep in
  • You’re sick
  • You have an accident/break a bone

Please contact school on 01282 865299 immediately and ask to speak to Mrs Lund, Exams Officer or explain to someone in reception what has happened.

Don’t panic!! You will be advised on the best thing to do but you must tell us so we can help you.

Some items are not allowed in an exam and are unauthorised materials, these include;

  • Mobile phones
  • Ipods or MP3 players
  • Smart watches
  • Any food or drink in packaging with labels
  • Tippex or correction fluid
  • Pale coloured gel pens

As soon as you enter the exam room you are under ‘exam conditions’.  This means that you must not communicate with any other candidate.

Bags and coats must be left in the designated area in the room and mobile phones and ipods must be handed in.

Please make sure you hand your mobile, smart watch or ipod/mp3 in.

If they are found in your possession, even if they are switched off,  the exam board could disqualify you from all of your exams.
