KS3 Reading Recommendations from Mrs Bowdin

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all keeping safe and looking after yourselves and your families.  You have all been working really hard on everything your teachers have set which is great, so I thought I would put together a list of really good books that you might like.  You can take yourself to a quiet corner, have a break and get yourself lost in another world - one without Covid-19!

I have organised my recommendations into year groups (see the links below).  There are some books which will also help you with some of your school subjects and to make it simple, I've created a simple key to my notes which is below.  If there's nothing on the list that takes your fancy feel free to send me an e-mail and I will find something just for you.

All these books have been around a while and therefore they're available on Amazon as used books or eBay so you will be able to buy them cheap.   When you have read a book, either off the list or from your own selection please send me an e-mail and let me know about it.  I love hearing your opinions of books; who knows, I might even share your thoughts via our twitter account direct with the author.
