On Trinity Sunday we contemplate the nature of the Blessed Trinity as a source of energy and power.
We do not just pray to the Triune God: we pray in him.
We pray because his Spirit cries out within us. We worship because the Spirit draws us into the body of Christ.
Christians believe that we are drawn into the mystery of God who is Father, Son and Spirit by the Son coming among us as one of us, as a human being – Jesus.
Jesus opened for us the way to the Father and he sent the Spirit to dwell in our hearts.
Glory be to the Father,
Who by His almighty power and love created me,
making me in the image and likeness of God.
Glory be to the Son,
Who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell,
and opened for me the gates of heaven.
Glory be to the Holy Spirit,
Who has sanctified me in the sacrament of Baptism,
and continues to sanctify me
by the graces I receive daily from His bounty.
