Vacancy - Attendance Manager

SCHOOL BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER 4 (ATTENDANCE MANAGER)

PERMANENT POSITION

 Required: 1 January 2022

37 hours per week, term time only

8am - 4pm (3.30pm Friday)

 Grade 6 points 11 – 19

(currently £21,748 – £25,481 per annum)

Actual from £18,305 - £21,447 (less than 5 years’ service)

 or £18,805 - £22,033 (more than 5 years’ service)

Ss John Fisher & Thomas More RC High is a friendly, caring, Catholic school, where young people matter.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual who will work as an integral part of our pastoral team, based in our busy student support office.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that registers are completed daily as a statutory requirement, to monitor pupil attendance and to follow the attendance policy.  The role also requires formal correspondence to be sent to parents and reports to be produced for relevant staff both within school and also at County level.  Subsequently, an excellent level of literacy and attention to detail is essential for the role.  If you thrive on being busy, can cope with interruptions, love a challenge, have a sense of humour and enjoy working with young people this could be the job for you!
