Behaviour and Expectations
A high standard of conduct, both inside and outside of school is expected from all pupils.
Punishments for those who are unresponsive take the form of extra work and detention.
24 hours notice of detention will be given in writing. Only a written note will postpone a detention.
It is the experience of teachers at this school that parents offer full support in matters of discipline. This is essential if standards of performance are to be maintained. In extremely rare cases the Headteacher may decide to exclude a pupil because of conduct which seriously affects discipline within the school.
These are the basic rules which govern the general conduct of children who attend this school. They are, of course, given further emphasis in assemblies, in the classroom and at meetings between parents and teachers.
