Uniform

Years 7 – 11

Girls 

  • Black blazer with school badge     OR
  • Black V-necked jumper with integrated school badge (purchased from school suppliers only.  No other type/style of jumper is allowed).
  • Black, conventional, traditional, tailored trousers.  High-waisted, polyester/wool mix containing a crease.  Not skinny fit.  Underwear must not be visible.  Belts should be black with a discreet buckle  OR
  • Traditional, knee length, black, pleated or ‘A’ line skirt; not tight-fitting.  Waistbands must not be rolled over and shorts must not be worn under skirts.
  • School tie in purple and grey, clip-on.  Available from our uniform suppliers.  An optional Year 11 tie will be available for Year 11 pupils only.
  • Long or short-sleeved white shirt with FORMAL COLLAR
  • Either black opaque tights or white ankle socks – not both
  • Traditional, sensible, low-heeled black school shoes.  Boots, trainers, trainer-style or pump-style shoes and suede or canvas materials are not permitted.  Laces, if required, should be black.  No logo/colour flashes permitted.
  • Coats must be a traditional, hip-length garment.  Hoodies, track suit or casual zip tops and denim, suede or leather material are not allowed.
  • Hair must be of a naturally occurring shade.  Distinct or two-tone colours are not permitted.  No shaven heads or lines cut into the hair.
  • Jewellery is not permitted except for one small gold or silver stud per ear in the ear lobe.  Make-up and nail varnish, artificial nails and body/facial piercings are not allowed.
  • All pupils should be provided with a traditional school bag (handbags are not permitted) and are required to have a 30cm ruler, suitable pen, pencil and coloured pencils or felt-tipped pens.  Solvent-based correction fluids (eg Tippex) are forbidden in school.
  • A school apron is required for use in Art/Design and Technology.

Boys
