Let all our bright
colours shine.

Welcome from Mr Crabtree

       Welcome Letter to Year 6

Mr Crabtree Director of Progress Year 7

Hello Year 6 and a huge welcome from Fisher More High School,

My name is Mr Crabtree, and I am currently Director of Progress for Year 7. I am here to help guide you through your transition to high school and answer any questions you may have along the way.

During the first two weeks of June, members of the pastoral team at Fisher More will be visiting all your Primary schools to talk to you about your journey to high school and what to expect when you arrive. You will also get the chance to visit school on Thursday 24th June and enjoy our taster day which gives you the opportunity to experience some different departments and for you to get to know our school community before you arrive ready to go in September!

I have enlisted the help of a top team of past Year 7’s to give me a hand in welcoming you all to our Fisher More family. One of the most important questions many of you may have is about what usually happens when you arrive for your first day of high school?

Well who better to tell you all about what to expect than some of our past Year 7 pupils. You can now click on a link on our transition section of our school website that will take you to a welcome letter that has been personally written by some of our past Year 7 pupils:

Luke Irons – came to Fisher More from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School

Freya Davies – came to Fisher More from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School

Tristan Fitzpatrick - came to Fisher More from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School

Joshua Bhatti – came to Fisher More from St John Southworth Roman Catholic Primary School

Lily Finnan – came to Fisher More from Holy Saviour Roman Catholic Primary School

Macey Shian – came to Fisher More from Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Primary School

Hopefully these letters will help to give you some idea about what to expect on your first day and who is here to help. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all in September. Take a look on our school website for the virtual tour of the school which will give you an opportunity to take a good look around the building and various classrooms before you arrive.

Take care Year 6 and I look forward to meeting you all very soon.
